Violations block the amendment
Any violation pending on the registration or the activity prevents the amendment from completing until it is cleared.
Some amendments call for new approvals

Different rules apply if the receiving party already owns a sole establishment registration.
The effect of a change in the registration number
Changing the trade name does not change the registration number, but a transfer of ownership accompanied by a change in the registration number requires all foreign staff to be moved to the new number.
