Commercial Registration
Liquidation and Registration Cancellation
Liquidating a company is a formal procedure that ends its commercial registration, with all its branches, at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. Liquidation does not go through before pending violations are settled and the obligations attached to the registration are closed. Leaving a registration without liquidating it does not count as ending the activity; it leaves it exposed to accumulating violations and obligations.

Turning a suspended registration into one that is officially cancelled
A formal end to a registration suspended for lack of renewal.
Cancelling a sole establishment

Key considerations
Violations block liquidation
Liquidation does not go through before the violations pending on the registration or the activity are settled.
Stopping the activity does not end the registration
Leaving a registration without liquidating it does not end its obligations; it suspends it, and violations accumulate against it.
Timing matters
The cost rises and the settlement becomes more complicated the longer the delay runs.
