Tamkeen support covers part of a Bahraini employee's salary over three years, at 70% in the first year, 50% in the second and 30% in the third. The support is subject to a salary ceiling of 350 to 450 BD for secondary school graduates, and 500 to 800 BD for bachelor's degree graduates.

Registering the vacancy with the Ministry. This is the first step and it cannot be skipped.

Completing the appointment procedures after the employee is nominated.

Adding the employee to the social insurance system, a necessary step before applying for the support.

Applying for wage support at Tamkeen
Submitting the support application once the preceding stages are complete.
Key considerations
The order of stages is binding
Skipping the vacancy advertisement or the social insurance registration stalls the application.
The ceiling sets the value of the support, not the salary
The salary agreed with the employee remains an internal decision for the establishment, while the ceiling applies to the portion covered by the support.
The support is tapered
The rate falls each year, and this must be taken into account when estimating the cost of hiring over three years.
The CR is tied to the procedure
The procedure requires an active commercial registration and an open social insurance file.
