Social Insurance
The Social Insurance Organisation (SIO) is a compulsory registration body for every establishment that employs staff in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Opening the establishment file requires an active and complete commercial registration. The procedure covers registering Bahraini employees and removing them when the employment relationship ends, and amending the salaries of Bahraini and foreign employees. The monthly contributions invoice is issued directly by the system.
